Mark is the founding partner of Gilwit & Associates, a boutique law firm located in Boca Raton, Florida. He is of counsel to our firm. He has been a practicing attorney since 1978. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Illinois, and New York and associated Federal District Courts. After being evaluated by his peers through Martindale Hubbell, his rating was determined to be AV, Preeminent, signifying an attorney who has achieved professional excellence and the highest levels of skill and integrity. Mark's law practice focuses on civil litigation and trials in both State and Federal Courts on matters involving commercial and contract disputes, employment, business, insurance, real estate, personal injury, negligence, premises liability, wrongful death, products liability, and medical malpractice litigations and arbitrations representing both plaintiffs and defendants. JEFFREY SUSSMAN
Jeff Sussman, voted a Super Lawyer and long listed in Leading American Attorneys, Who’s Who and other organizations listing those at the top of his profession, has been a nationally recognized trial lawyer for 40 years. After an academic background including graduate degrees in Philosophy and Economics, Jeff decided to put his personal philosophy and value system to work by becoming a lawyer. His practice has included medical malpractice, drug cases, and other negligence matters. Beginning with litigation concerning the drug industry’s failed and negligent attempt to prevent miscarriage in pregnant women, by its distribution of the drug D.E.S., to the present wherein he is focusing on catastrophic negligence actions, medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases and those involving women and children. Jeff has fought the fight for injured people and devastated families. Having tried cases in both the State and Federal system, and having been responsible for results worth millions and millions of dollars, Jeff is dedicated and devoted to making certain that his clients have the finest representation possible, having someone by their side, and helping obtain the money and tools that help people and families cope with the tragic effect of sudden injuries or death. Jeff is the managing partner of Sussman, Selig & Ross located in Chicago, Illinois. We are proud to have him serve as counsel to our firm.
MARK GILWIT
Jeffrey Maizes is a cum laude graduate of the Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law. He is also licensed and admitted in New York, Connecticut, Southern District of New York, and Eastern District of New York. He is pending admission in New Jersey. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the David B. Fauk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University, where he was the Basketball team's co-head manager. He has extensive experience is sports and entertainment and is the recipient of multiple daytime Emmy awards for his work on the People's Court and for NBC Sports concerning the Olympics. Jeffrey is a third-generation lawyer at the firm.
